Parryng & Evade Calculator

Parrying and Bushido skills are checked during combat to determine whether an attack can be completely blocked.
Melee and ranged attacks can be parried if the defender uses a shield or a melee weapon.

On a successful parry, the attacker will completely miss the target.
If a special move is parried, it will not consume mana for the user.

Note: when using a shield, the Bushido skill reduces the chance to block an attack.

Additionally, having Bushido allows you to use the Evasion spell, which during its effect lets you "parry" spells as well, adding your parry chance to the bonus granted by Evasion based on your skills:

• +16% with a two-handed weapon
• +14% with a one-handed weapon
• +2% with a shield
• +4% additional if both Anatomy and Tactics ≥ 100, applies to 1-Hand and 2-Handed weapons
  

To use it, Evasion requires Bushido skill at 50.

Without the Parrying skill active, the base chances are:

• Two-handed or one-handed weapon = 10%
• Shield = 7%
