Damage and Damage Bonuses


In Ultima Online, each weapon has its own characteristics such as base speed and special abilities, but another variable is Damage: Every weapon has a different base damage that is split into Damage Min and Damage Max; for example, a Double Axe has a value ranging from 15–18, which corresponds to the damage you can deal when striking an enemy.

This base damage can be increased through certain skills, through Strength, and via the Damage Increase property found on equipment (or through certain bonuses such as the damage bonus from the Divine Fury spell, which stack with gear bonuses up to a total cap of 100 points). The skills involved are Anatomy, Tactics, and Lumberjacking (the latter grants a damage bonus only if the weapon is an Axe under Swordsmanship). Here are the values of the various bonuses:
